last weekend my gal pals & i got together for a festive & wine-filled holiday party! there was brie, spinach & artichoke dip, apple pie and meatballs! all the best things right? but what made the night even better was sharing stories about family traditions and our favorite holiday memories. some of us have known each other for a few months and others for a few years, but we all got a little closer after a glass of pinot noir and a story about christmas gifts gone wrong! moments like these are what make the holidays so special, and you’ll catch a few of them below.
no holiday party is complete without some saucy accessories. the soho pied-à-terre was decked out in kellie pickler’s new holiday collection from the selma drye home goods line. each piece was designed with her southern roots in mind, which i also happen to share… but what was most impressive was that the pieces fit seamlessly into the chic simplistic style that is new york. i’m all for more glitz & glam, but this collection is actually the perfect combination of charm, sparkle and sophistication. it was inspired by kellie’s great-grandmother, selma drye, and reminds her of timeless style and childhood memories. & if you’re a southern gal like kellie dreaming of a white christmas, all you have to do is try out the snow globe [and take a listen ;)]!
